Install AI Act Register Pilot

The extension is under review by the Chrome Web Store. Until it goes live, the official package is available right here and installs in five minutes: it is exactly the code submitted to Google, at the same version.

Load the extension in developer mode

Five steps, once. No command line.

  1. Download aiactpilot-latest.zip using the button above, then unzip it into a folder you will keep (for example Documents\aiactpilot). The folder must contain a manifest.json file at its root.
  2. Open Chrome and type chrome://extensions in the address bar.
  3. Turn on Developer mode, at the top right of the page.
  4. Click Load unpacked and select the unzipped folder.
  5. Pin the icon to your toolbar. Browse as usual: recognised AI tools appear in the popup, and the badge counts the systems still to be documented.

What Chrome will tell you

Chrome shows a "Disable developer mode extensions" banner at every start-up while the extension is not installed from the Chrome Web Store. This is the normal behaviour of a locally loaded extension, not a security warning. You can dismiss the banner; the extension keeps working.

Updates are not automatic in early access: download the new package and reload it from chrome://extensions. Your register, organisations and licence are preserved — they live in the extension's local storage, not in the package. Once the Chrome Web Store listing is live, install the store version and remove the local one: export your register to JSON first (Register → Export), then re-import it from the options page (Backup & restore).

No host permissions are requested: the extension injects no script into your pages. The only network call verifies your licence key against our server, hosted in Germany. Full details in the privacy policy.

Activate a Solo or Agency licence

After paying on the pricing page, your licence key is displayed and emailed to you. Open the extension options (right-click the icon → Options), go to the License section, paste the key and click Activate: the plan unlocks immediately, on this device and on any other. You can also start the 14-day Solo trial — no card required — from the same screen.
